Swinerton Builders in Partnership With IDG Parkitects Selected for Award of JPL's West Arroyo Parking Structure Project
Swinerton Builders in partnership with IDG Parkitects have been selected for award of subcontract as the design-build team for Jet Propulsion Laboratory's West Arroyo Parking Structure in Pasadena, California.
The $17.5 million project consists of a 4.5-story, 1,436-stall, cast-in-place concrete parking structure. It also includes significant ancillary roadway and surrounding hardscape improvements, as well as the demolition of existing buildings and the City of Pasadena-owned East Arroyo Parking Lot. The project also provides the structural capability for a future support grid for photovoltaic panels over the upper parking level.
