ePals Awards Restricted Share Units

ePals Corporation (TSX VENTURE: SLN) (the "Corporation"), an education media company and the world's leading safe social learning network, announces that it has agreed to award to two senior executives a total of 1,750,000 restricted share units which are redeemable for an equal number of the Corporation's restricted voting common shares upon vesting. The restricted share units will be awarded pursuant to the Corporation's restricted share unit plan and will vest in various portions over time with the final vesting date being December 31, 2013. The restricted voting common shares issuable upon redemption of the restricted share units are subject to a hold period of four months and one day commencing on the date of the award.
